Newish member / M5 questions / What M5 Exhaust ?

Hello all,
Iv been a member here for years, i got banned before lol. Was abit of a nobber back then (was still in school and was rather immature), but hey ho, any way Gustav has allowed me to post again as im currentley in the process of buying a 2007 M5.

Now i know the exhaust topic has been asked to many times, iv searched the forum and got enough info, however, heres a few questions i have.

Im after the meisterschaft exhaust, but not sure if its avalibe in the UK? Can any one confrim?

How much would the meisterschaft cost roughly?

Is Eissemann better than meisterschaft with regards to sounds?

Also with regards to the M5 im buying, can any one give me some tips before i buy? Any things to look out for? Any important recalls that care done for the facelift M5??

Sorry for the many questions,

Juber.

well...I'm pretty new here also but before someone else says it, "Search is your friend." Just google "Car buying tips" on the internet & you will find all the pertinent info you need.

As for the meisterschaft exhaust, why don't you just contact them via email and ask them for yourself? That way you get the answers that you need straight from the source....and also you ask all the questions you want.

"Search is your friend" also on your '07 M5 buying issue. As a matter of fact, if you check Car & driver, Motor Trend website you'll find info on preowned vehicles.

Good Luck

I would recommend RPi/ASR/Evosport. Proven gains and awesome sound! Do a search, you'll find tons of info.

Some pointers to newcomers (and old members) about posting on m5board [Updated!]
"Don't start a thread about subjects that have been asked many times before. You won't get good quality responses. If you can't take the small amount of time to conduct a basic search why should someone else take the time to respond to your question? Use the search feature to find out if your question has been discussed before: http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/search.php"

BTW, welcome aboard

Welcome. I'll admit I do not know too much when it comes to mods, but when I was in LA a few months back, I heard an M5 speed by with an Eisenmann Race Oval Exhaust (I'm pretty sure), and it sounded AWESOME. Its remarkably loud though, so be prepared for a lot of attention . Hope this helps.
