Great video, really enjoyed it. GO M5!!
I've run an F430 and took him but I didn't want to take any chances and ran on the nitrous. Never ran him on motor.

I love the M5.

Very cool stuff. The M5 keeps proving to be a huge surprise from a roll.

Great run from the M5, but I think the Ferrari guy was a bit lame.... he was almost always late in the start and gave up too soon without any reason (traffic etc.)....

Fantastic video and thumbs up for the guys driving - paying respect to rest of traffic after all. Nice... now I never wanna remove the big M5 E60 poster over my bed

Back to that video they both had slightly chipped engines and exhaust so no surprise from here but total respect.
True but the problem with the M5 is that you dont feel its power and speed and videos like this tells us how fast it is.

Very true which i think might be the case with the m3 as well, i don't have the e60 (although would love to get one someday) but been driven in one and it goes like stink but from what the guy driving said was the feel or involvement was not like in the earlier //m cars which have less power but you need to be totally committed to get the best from them then you feel them i've got the e30 m3 evo and the e34 //m5 and you feel at one with them instantly. The current //m 5 is a car i love and respect absolutely and totally and will own eventually.

I have raced a F430 with hamann exhaust+ecu and I was slightly ahead (half carlength) with no passengers on both cars. But I'm sure people who own F430 not buying that just for speed. Awesome sound!!!

With all-motor, I'm sure you still beat them.

Don't know. Some of the runs the F-car was pulling, some of the runs the M-car had it. One thing I notice is that the guy in the 430 backs out of it the second the M5 starts to pull him in a few of the runs. As you would expect, the 430 would pull in the beginning, and then the M5 starts to reel him in as speeds increase. Once that occurs, the 430 driver gets out of the throttle. Whether that's accident or design, I couldn't say.

Regardless, neat video of two very special cars going for it.

F430's are no threat to a well tuned M5. Still a beautiful car though.

I actually saw Kenny's RPI M5 take on one, and the Ferrari owner could not believe it.
