So....I take it the owner cheated on his significant other? I suppose it could be a psycho ex as well. Either way DAMN that thing is comprehensively trashed.

Must have been a malicious female...I am guessing it took a lot of time to go thru the whole car and nit pick it the way it is. Not only that, had time to get into it and go thru seats, airbags, etc....why can't they just check for finger prints or any other clues like CSI...lol...I am sure they would find something.

The car is a beauty and could definitely be turned into a nice little project car.

I see gun shots and dents & dings. I'm not sure if the car was shot up or just stolen and then destroyed.

I wouldn't touch that thing with a ten foot pole unless like Myke stated to make it a track car. If the motor is good and no slug made it into the motor / block then totally strip it down and make it like a DTM car.
Not sure how the rules may have changed but back when I raced SCCA this would have been great to run in a regional class as super production (SP). Race suspension, slicks, coilovers, fuel cell and race seat w/ harnasses and you have a contender.

Man, someone got a hold of that thing and did some damage!
I agree with the above posts -- if the motor is fine, buy it and use the core to get an ASR TT or Dinan Stroker and that thing will be unstoppable! And you're less than a new M5 -- just a little more ghetto, another $10k to fix up the bullet holes and replace interior with something light and no one would know the difference
