Like I said I'd like nothing better but this seems a bit hard to digest.
From BMWBLOG:
Cadillac CTS-V faster the BMW M3 and M5 on Nurburgring track

Cadillac admits that the M5 was the benchmark it wanted to beat.

So if the M5 bests the CTS-V's 7:59 with 7:52, I want my cigar!

This was a thread about a 997GT3RS encounter with an M6 or even an M5.
It has become a thread about "ring times". I mean that's okay, but they do not mean anything to me.
In reality what do those "ring times" mean to a working dog like me?
Enjoy your cars.

Yes, the CSL is way lighter, but I think it has more to do with the humidity, temperature and so on, not only the weight.

7:52 min for the M5 E60 is fast, very very fast for 4000+ lbs car.
CSL was so quick as it came shod stock with semi-slick cup tires.

Great pics, Juan! I especially appreciate the one with "Ranger, Jr." Seeing your pic reminds me of our get together last summer. I'll be coming back down to South FL sometime again this summer. If I bring my M5 down, we'll have to do it again. By then your TT project should be complete.
