Great kill. I saw Gt3's clock 12.4's which sure will be tought beating off the line but im sure there will be no problem. A GT3 RS kill is just awesome

Nice Kill!

I would have thought that a GT3 RS would have been a more formidible opponent (not saying I would have thought it would beat an M6). I am sure that ironing board wing isn't doing it any favors acceleration wise at 100+mph speeds (obviously it helps stability and down force handling wise). Kind of reminds me of when I watched Jamie Furman take his new stock Viper ACR down the 1/4 mile track last October. When he took off the ACR's rear wing it trapped about 2mph higher over his previous runs with the wing intact.

The car picture appears to be a 7GT3RS.

6GT3 doesn't have center exit exhaust or rear quarter vents in the bumper.

Also, 6GT3RS never was official imported to the US by Porsche.

I sure hope you were on a highway( or better yet a closed course) where I would expect the M6 would dominate the GT3 RS in a straight line. There are not too many production vehicles that top our cars 140-200 mph. Stay safe!

I didn't see the centre pipes!
I was focusing on the rear lights, and I thought it was a 996, but I stand corrected, the ends of the rear lights lift upwards, which is a 997 design.
Well... even better news for us!!!
We can be very proud of our beasties!!

Not in an all out drag race,

But a 6GT3, driven by Walter Rohrl, did the Nurburgring in 7 minutes 56 seconds. In a 6GT3RS, Rohrl did it in 7 minutes 43 seconds. In a 7GT3, Rohrl did it in 7 minutes 42 seconds.

Posted Nurburgring times for a e60M5 was 8 minutes 13 seconds and for a e63M6 it was 8 minutes 9 seconds.

And don't forget all the talk at Cadillac, a 2009 CTS-V did 7 minutes 59 seconds.

But I heard Sabine is more than happy to try to best those times in a e60M5.

Here's the Queen at work:
Sabine on the Nürburgring followed by a Porsche 996 GT3

Nice kill man! I have a 100% stock M5 E60 with 20" aftermarket M6 copy wheels, they are heavy and I did outrun a GT3 RS quite easy. An M6 should kill it while you are drinking your coffe
