And oh I'm supposed to be at the office at 8am tomorrow (as if I couldn't check for new m5board pics there). So I guess, yes it would seem like I'm a big loser too. And a liar since "I had to run to the computer to do some quick online banking stuff" to cover up this late night car-obsessed act.

nice!..... count me in we are losers

Hmm, an old thread resurrected.

Well, unemotionally speaking, lest we forget, the philosophy of the board is due credit -- the founders, administrators, moderators, and posters -- in addition to its presentation, ie: the prohibition of blaring, distracting, and obnoxious blinking GIF graphic signatures that serve nothing other than to further the sorry egos of the posters. Didn't mean this to sound rant-like...

Looks like we are all in good company. I am (im)patiently waiting for my beast to be built and arrive. Based on the scheduled build week and all the delivery variables, I hope to have it somewhere around 59.45 - 66.3 days from now, but who is counting!

I found this board as I was doing my daily (OK several times a day) search of Google for any M5 info that I could feed on. It has been a great tool in staving off the days of wait - let's just call it my personal M5 methadone! The guys here are great and the amount of information I have been able to get is amazing.

How bad do I have it? I have figured out how to log on and respond to posts from my Blackberry -- spent about 2 hours in the Luxembourg airport doing that yesterday. It is now 5 a.m. and I am sitting in my hotel in London "just checking" if there have been any new posts since I was last on 4.5 hours ago!

Call me loser with a capital "L". In this context, it is a label I will wear proadly!

I don't care what other people think about my internet activities...if I have to be a loser to love my car, then that's what I am!

Actually, I was surprised to find that an M5 board even existed. I expected most of the owners to be of an "older demographic" due to the car's cost, and typically a lot of 50+ folks really haven't figured out this whole Internet thing, especially social aspects like online forums.

(I'm an exception, of course, but I do this stuff for a living...)

I think I was wrong about the average age, though-- I seem to recall seeing a poll here that put most owners in the 30-40 range, with a few under-20s.

I wouldn't even want to know how much time I've spent on this board.. Don't post much but read just about everything about the M5.

I don't own an M5 but love reading about all of you guys expectations, deliverys, experiences, mods and pics!

I actually daydream about my own M5 and all the mods I'm going to do and where I would drive it etc etc etc.... Am I the only one who does this?....

So yes, I'm a loser as well...

ZLaaten -- I just love your defineition of "much"

You don't post "much" - just >500 times.

I trust you won't mind if I use your definition of much when my wife asks how much the M5 costs -- I intend to say "Not much more than my 745 did".

If you make it to the NY area after October (my delivery date), get in touch. I owe you a ride!!!
