Na, I'm not a PUSSY, a MaMa's Boy, or a girly Man !! Just Jesting: to answer your question, my only concern was, can i figure out how to drive this thing and watch where I'm going ?? It didn't take long...the more I drove it and understood it ...the easier it got.

That's a huge jump in performance...be careful, be intimidated. Learn this car, it is very powerful. Respect it...I think one of the biggest problems with a high performance car is that people get in and drive it without truly knowing it. Good luck, be safe, and enjoy it!!

The car has 20k, and during my ride from MD to NJ I tested the M mode. Lets just say it went from 65 to X4X in just a blink of an eye and back just as fast. This was on a straight clear road. The handling is perfect at high speeds, and I'm still trying to get usto the shifting. It seems p400 at S3 seems to be very smooth at low speeds. I do have to say in traffic I'm just gonna keep her in automatic, as it seems my car is only delayed in switching gears and it doesn't kick back. I am 100% aware of what this car can do and thats why I will drive this car with respect. I seemed to have a problem keeping the car below 75mph and had to teach my self to drive "slow" since you dont feel the speed. The sound system is great and the overall engineering of the car is almost perfect and I bet the 09's are just magnificent.

Just make sure your M button is programed
for DSC on or at least MDM. That should
help keep things under control.

First off, congratulations.
I always try to manually downshift, especially 2-1. I used to let the computer downshift on its own, but I've been caught slowing down at a red light that turned green and the computer downshifted to 1 just as I started to apply the throttle and BAM! Feels like you got rear ended, and almost hit the car in front of me...
So now I always manually downshift so I know exactly when I'm in the lower gear, so I don't get caught by surprise.

Good point here. Very annoying. I agree that if you don't think you're going to come to rest then manually shift to 1.

not really, I had an E39...and a supercharged Dinan E36 M3....so I was plenty prepared. The E60 is by far better than both combined. (I got the 6 speed manual, and LOVE IT)
