Lost to a Pontiac Grand Prix today

This is the story...got in my car today and it was a frigid 19 degrees in nyc. I left for the suburbs and was noticing my car definitely felt more powerful---less than a 1/4 tank gas and with M mode and MDM on, traction was kicking in first and second when i really stepped on it. I decided to go dsc off and then engaged s6...on one run i literally thought i left my tranny and rear end in the street from rolling start 1st to second...s6 is really unbelievable...I rolled up to a stoplight and there it was--a new pontiac grand prix with what appeared to be rodney dangerfield behind the wheel. I inched forward, he inched forward..s6 on, i was blipping the gas. I did not know if he wanted to go...the light turned and he took off---i nailed it but was a spinning fury--hit second but did little do help the rear end sliding---once i let off the gas he had beaten me to the second light---im sure i made his new year---sorry for letting the board down.

We all learn the lesson of launching our beasts by some bad experience, including me. I had a similar experience with a carrera 4S who insisted to race me from a dead stop since hes so happy with his boring 4wheel drive system. Anyways back then I burly knew how to drive my car, so we both slammed it from a dig and from that moment i had no clue what was happening, as my rpm was cut offing asif it was on steroids, I noticed that i was about to crash in to the carrera, and worst of all I early shifted to 2nd thinking it was the proper time since the rpm was hitting the red line so many times while my speedometer still showed around 40 km/h although I eventually cought him back at 160 km/h never the less it was a lesson for me to not start with WOT from a dead stop since our beasts can bite back!! anyways im sure that the pontiac guy must know what an M5 badge is all about, so there is no need to proove it to him wut so ever

That is very cool and shows us the future of cars and performance mods.

I'm surprised that nobody has commercialized electric assist peformance add-ons yet. You know...in similar fashion to add-on superchargers & turbo chargers.

(I'll miss the sweet sound of a combustion engine)
