How can that be??? They were ready to go to production? Cancel a model so close to go?
Honda is exiting F1 and scaling back on Motorcycle racing. Just the economics these days. The NSX would have never been a volume car. Perhaps they will trickle down they V10 tech to a V8 in the future, but as for now I presume they will focus on getting lean and produce hi volume hybrids/fuel efficient cars. I'm hopeful they will be back in the next economic cycle. They're too good not to be.
BTW I like your Handle!
When I'm not driving the M5 I drive a '97 NSX with 18,000 miles and absolutely love it. I have been anxiously awaiting the next gen. NSX...for years. The good news is it will probably go up in value.
I was reading how Honda wants to put more money towards cars that can be used everyday and burn less fuel. Good for them I guess. I would have love to seen the new NSX.

Are you on Prime?
I've got a 2002 silverstone on silver for my weekends.

It's cause they have better things to spend their money on, like creepy 49 foot tall Super Asimo floats.
