i just got a set of 20" hamann edition race wheels for my car which is lowered on rdsport springs. i dont know what the best tire set up would be. anyone know if i can fit 255/30ZR20 fronts and 305/25ZR20 rears or if the rears will be too big? will they rub? is the sidewall too small? any advice or experience is appreciated

thanks

Loyola M5 how wide are your rears? If they are 10.5" or 11" you will be fine with the 305 tire.
I have the HRE P40's, fronts 20x9 and rears 20x10.5" and I have mounted 275/30 and 305/25.
They fit perfect and there is absolutely no rubbing.
The 255/30 you got actually gives you the exact same rolling diameter as the 305/25, so probably better.

Mind you the offsets have to be exactly on the money. I know HRE has this down perfect. The offsets are perfect, NO SPACERS.

I assume that Hamaan has this down also.
BTW those wheels you bought are awesome. As I recall they also had a staggering price :).

You should be okay but my only uncertainty are the wheel width and wheel offset.

I had 20" HRE 941R's 20x9 and 20x10.5 with 275/30/30 and 325/25/20 without any rubbing and rdsport springs. You will be ok.

Wow!! 325's in the rear. That is outrageous and must look stout.
You've given me an idea now. Will definitely pursue this.

Do you know what the offsets are?

For reference HRE typically uses something like a 20x9 +9 front and 20x10.5 +28 rear.
