Wink Thank You!

Thank you all for your support. Although it did take some time to search, copy, and then paste the threads, I can assure you that I've learned lots & lots of interesting & useful information myself. Believe me it was worth it and if deemed necessary, I'm willing to do it all again. Thanks again!

m5 e60 remap

i ran my M% E60 for about a year and at 6000 m decided that i needed some more power and so called in DMS who sent a guy up from the coast and carried out the alterations at my house.
The differance was like night and day the power in crease was spectacular with main differance being a much smoother gear change in M mode.
This year we visited LeMans and the car was supurb on the way back at one of the tolls we came across a new turbo 997 which resulted in a blast back to the tunnel with 997 giving up ay 180 and the M5 max at 206.
If any one is thinking of a DMS conversion go fot it you wont regret it.

Very useful list. I am curious, at what mileage threshold does the group feel it is no longer advisable to perform some of the typical major upgrades (supercharger kit, ss headers, etc.)?

For example, I have a 2000 M5 with 90k miles - is it worth putting an ESS kit on it? or is the car past it's prime for a superchager mod and I should stick to cheaper minor upgrades? At this point, I am only putting on about 6k miles per year and it's not a daily driver. Thoughts?
