Hi,

Just wondering if any member has a Remus exhaust system? I am considering it because ive been told that its guaranteed not to drone by the austrian manufacturer. Any thoughts?

Also considering the eisenschaft touring, not the GT solely due to not wanting an exhaust thats going to drone.

Does anyone have either of the above two exhausts?

Cheers

Remus is a great exhaust system .. they are considered a conservative exhaust when it comes to droning and sound level .. if you are looking for something aftermarket but really close to the OEM then this is the right exhaust for you.

regarding "eisenschaft" there is no such a company called "eisenschaft" it is actualy a company or a lets call it a shop in USA that is selling fake "EISENMANN" exhausts and calling them "Miesterschaft" they are called Eisenhaus and now renamed themselves to GT Haus. their exhaust systems are made in Korea and being sold with a price tag of a european system. i am not sure about warranty and long term use but i would contact a genuine EISENMANN dealer and see what they have to offer.

Mackyfr,

Just checkout the youtube video and it sound awesome. Just wondering is that just with the rear mufflers or did you do something else to the exhaust?

Also, does it drone inside the car? Like under low RPM does it annoy you or is it quite comfortable inside the cabin?

Cheers

Thanks :) Only the rear mufflers, bought them for 2799$.
When the car is cold it is pretty loud (i think it's like that with all M5's?).
But when you're driving normally i wouldn't say there's any drone.
The Dinan mufflers are among the quietest on the market i think?
