Maybe if it shakes only when you put the brakes on it could be bad rotors...

UFH, I have a mild shake or shudder in the steering wheel only while braking.
I dismissed the bent rotor as I could not imagine how it would have gotten bent (but really this seems most logical).
I was leaning toward an untrue wheel. I have notice this since having HRE 890R's installed and was suspecting that one of the wheels may be out of wack even though it balanced as my shop told me one took a lot of weights and was kind of wobbling on the balancing machine and then backed off on the wobbling comment.
So, do you think I can eliminate the wheel(s) as the culprit if I ONLY get this shudder under braking?
I did have suspension work done (KW coilovers & Dinan sway bars) I suppose one of the rotors could have gotten bent during the install of the KW's or should I still suspect the wheel as well. I was going to have the wheels road forced balanced. The shop was supposed to have done this, but I think they might have skipped it.
The only way I can think to check the rotors is to spin the wheel off the ground and see if the brakes seem to grab and let loose while not applied.
I guess I'll start by spinning the wheels to check see if I can detect anything with the rotors and then have the wheels road force balanced. The wheels are fairly new and I am certain HRE would correct any issues. I have been suspecting the right front wheel based on what the shop told me about balancing...
If I need a new rotor I have a much dreaded appointment with the dealer this Saturday for Horns and Oil... I did not want them touching my gloss black HRE wheels though, arghhh. One last thought, could a rotor have warped from hard braking during a recent spirited canyon run. One would hope not....
Thanks for your insight...
