true the rs6 is very fast but I think this test is just a bit off.
Why: your fighting the rs6 at his best level. from the low revs the rs6 had more torque. also if you would do it from a standing start it would be harder for the rs6. due to his quattro system and weight it would have a much harder time to beat the M5.
But i will admit its a very fast car

It's funny to read this...Why? Most people say to run the M5 from a roll as standing starts are not the M5's best part to highlight.

Now when it gets beat from a roll, we shout "start from a dig...". Come on folks, let's give a big thumbs up to Audi for finally making a competitive car! Great work RS division.

Of course, I'm sure the next gen M5/6 will compensate appropriately and put our favorite car back on top, until then let's give credit where it's due.

Yes, the RS6 is also an Avant, a very large and heavy car. With 4WD and automatic the car is fast up to 140 mph. However the RS6 does not keep up its acceleration above 140 mph where the M5 almost gets a boost thanks to shorter gear ratio.

Is that M5 with the 20" wheels slower than normal?

How did the RS6 do against Russ' car?

Looks like the RS6 is about the same as a stock M6

Fact of the matter is the RS6 is faster. Give Audi its due. Stock for stock it's faster. Don't bring in the topic of tuning the M5 to race a stock RS6. A slight tuning for the RS6 gives it 700hp. Not much will stand a chance. The GT2 barely beats that tuned beast to 300kp/h.
