Well, it is about design sharing as well...Merc, GM and BMW developed the new Hybrid system currently being used on the Escalade and the GMC Tahoe, soon to be used on the new Merc Hybrid and also the 7er Hybrid......so what, big deal that the companies are sharing components and some designs?

i doubt if major components like engines will be included in such a shared resources deal. Secondary and tertiary systems like safety system, microelectronics, some shared hybrid technology, ride control maybe audio are on the table though.
