Ticketed at 140 MPH !

Hello everyone,

Just venting a bit here. Last night, heading back from a little get together in Pelham, driving down the Hutch doing 140MPH I see flashing lights from distant!

I know it's a bit much, but it was soooo nice and you all have done it and know that's the faster you go, the bigger the rush!

Anyways, so I see the lights flashing and I immediately knew he's after me. So I pulled aside and put my hazard lights on, and literally had to wait a few seconds for him to pull behind me. He was the most ridiculous trooper I have ever met. He started screaming on the loud speaker telling me to put the keys on the roof of the car, turn off the lights, turn on the interior lights, and to put my hands on the steering wheel!

Yes my car is tinted, plus I have the shades up. So I did what i was told and comes very cautious with his hand on the gun I swear!

He really didn't have to be that dramatic. He was a highway patrol trooper and didn't give me a chance to open my mouth with a word! At the end, I got 3 tickets and he said that he clocked me at 94 MPH. Which was fine by me. The other 2 tickets where for aggressive driving and failing to signal when i changed lanes! I told him, you gave me 2 tickets, was that last one necessary

? He was like, I write what i see. What a jerk.

Anyways, i sent the tickets to my lawyer and heard an earful from her. Let see what happens. BTW it came to a total of 19pts.

But I must say, it was such a good feeling.

i'd say you got lucky !!

if he really did get you on laser/radar you may have been taken away in cuff's !!

+1....BTW YOU may think he was unreasonable...but I would have done the samething....a car blows past me at 94...at night...tints AND shades..yeah I would have had you put the keys on the roof and your hands out the window....
then I would have asked for a ride

Aside from the distraction of Johnny Law...how was the 140mph run?...too bad you could not have kept going to the limiter.

Man you were lucky because for sure that could have been cuff and jail time.
Lucky not to have been nailed at a buck forty and your license go bye bye.

Yes, most times dealing with speeding issues the troopers get pretty arrogant and behave very abrasive.

I used to be up in that area. Where in hell can you do 140 on the Hutch? There's no stretch of road thats straight enough or long enough!

He...I love these stories. I used to love going 170 (on speedometer, not GPS speed) on my GSXR motorcycle past state police. They wouldn't even try to come after us.
