Yes, I was lucky. Plus, I had a few
140 after drinking and you think it's cool. This is either bullshit or you're an *ssh*le, I'm hoping for bullshit.

They catch speeders with red light cameras and unmarked cars which are mounted with video surveillance. Much less intrusive and dramatic.

American police are so dramatic and cocky. Pathetic really...

I will say if I were in your situation and the weather was marginal (not good for police helicopters), I would have kept going...
Yes you are correct it's really pathetic the way officers act in the US, but they are a product of there environment, unnecessary behavior. Once i got a phone call in the middle of the night to come get my little brother from the interstate because an officer pulled him over and wouldn't allow him to drive home. So i get out of bed (2am) and go get him. I ask the officer how fast he was going, 95mph I told the cop he was being alittle to dramatic. He was in an M3 on a deserted stretch of highway. YEA COPS ARE ASSHOLES here i the US.

And now a word for another rocket scientist. That has to win the award for stupidest (or at least most irresponsible) post in a long time!

If you want to make it home after drinking . . . DONT DRIVE YOURSELF!!!!! You want to commit suicide, go jump off a bridge. But you have no right to endanger the other people on the road b/c of you selfishness.

I hope Jerseybeemer was right and the OP was just trying to look cool. For the record, it does not look cool more like fool.

Sorry mate, I have no idea what "the Hutch" is, but I figured it had to be a pretty even piece of road if you are to reach 140 mph. I agree that drinking and driving is completely inexcuseable.

Yeah, but it was meant as a "come on, dont tell us to obey speed limits in here"-comment. You never hit the limiter in your car on a public road (not Germany)?

Btw, what does "full buck fourty" mean? I'm not familiar with that expression.
