Camera mount in car??

I would really like to get a video camera mounted in my car to get some good kills taped. Anybody have a set up that they could share with everyone. Its kinda hard to get anything when your driving alone... Anyone want to chime in on this one? Thanks

Myself and a few others from the board use a headrest video came mount from a company based in the UK

B-Hague - Headrest Mount

but I'm sure there will be a similar product sold in the USA by somebody.

You can write to Todd Namenek ( tnamenek@panavise.com ) or call (775-850-2900) and ask about their mount 809 w/3" extension. Altogether under $40 including shipping.

It is a suction cup mount Autoweek magazine used recently when testing some basic and some very high end cam systems in and on cars. They recommend it.

Here is the stuff I use.

I use bullet cams and found I get the best results by recording it onto my Sony Handycam PC330E.

I use a flexi mount that I attach to one of the posts on the headrest and then I can bend the flexi mount to get a good view. (the flexi mount is bent round the top right hand corner of the case in the pic, there are 2 there that I screwed together for storage)

Video from Croft Circuit UK

I bought my stuff from:

Helmet camera bullet cameras from dogcamsport
