Future purchasers of the stroker will be in your debt after this problem is resolved. Next time you speak with Mr. Dinan, perhaps you could ask him if he is willing to offer a discount on the stroker motor with a group buy from the M5board.

Personally I have questions and comments but at the present time I believe it is time to zip-it up and allow Dinan to work this out with Darren and Chris.
Dinan needs to handle this situation for them and return to them the motor they expected.
All our comments are not salient to this topic. Again Dinan now will proceed to troubleshoot this for them and only Dinan's comments count right now.
Certainly all this in only my humble opinion. What do I know.

Good luck guys, hold Dinan to making it right.
There are many members living vicariously through the experience of you guys. Many are feeling your pain.

Succinctly stated!

I have witnessed Dinan's roller coaster ride with the E60 platform for sometime now. I had some hope with Darren's initial posts on the stroker.

DRM's E39 stroker has, from all accounts performed flawlessly.

Dinan and the E60 has been much to be desired. I hope, because, I like the concept of a NA car with this type of performance, that all works out as it should.

Darren,

This sounds like real progress and is the level of professionalism I would expect from Dinan. Hopoefully the issue is diagnosed and resolved quickly for both your car and SBM6's. I'm eagerly waiting to see the outcome as it will impact my potential stroker M3 purchase.

Steve,

The dealer has a configuration option that allows them to clear and reset all the adaptations and this is the way we had it done.

Regards,

Darren

'Not a "stroker". It's a S/C'd S3 pkg for E39 M5 (stock engine internals) that delivers 620+ hp and 500+ ft lbs torque. And yes, it's performed flawlessly; 22 months and ~24k miles since install completed by AGA.

'Sure wish AGA would organize a "run" with my car (or their S3) and the "stoker" M6 they finished for a customer about 2 months ago. AGA owner says M6 is "a traction challenged monster". M6 owner just recently ponied up for new HRE wheels and R-comp tires to help with traction. 'Haven't heard about results yet. 'Going to AGA this week, so 'will find out what latest word is.

Thanks Dan,

Not the first time I get only haft the info right! And, I need to type slower. I just subconsciously want to be "stroked!"

But, my point was. . . . .
