FYI, Steve Dinan drove his stroked M5 against their stroked M6 0-200 and the M6 had 5 lengths on the M5.
Picked up the beast today! Sounds phenomenal! Pulls like a banshee and I haven't had her above 4500 RPMs. So much more driveable around town now. Performs at 3-4K RPM better than stock motor 4-5K RPM. Can't really give much of an impression yet beyond that with my own car. But I can say that it is shocking to ride in and drive Darren's car.
Saw a Murci on the way home and would have loved to put a spanking on him had I been run in properly! Guy probably would have lost his mind.

Not fair again regarding M6/M5 comparison especially 5 CLs.
SBM6, you used to have ASR NOS, correct? Or somebody else. If yes, please give us some feedback. Thanks in advance.
One/Two punch from DFW Crew again...

I can tell you that under full throttle, NOS and stroker feel very similar. Now, which one makes more peak power and torque? We won't know the results on dyno until Monday.
I can tell you that ASR's system is phenomenal and performs flawlessly. It is definitely the less costly alternative. And for guys wanting the power only for runs and racing, it's a great solution. But again, my motor has the additional torque and power all the time regardless if I'm WOT or 1/4 throttle, so the driving experience of the car is tremendously enhanced when tooling around in the car. Very easy to pass now in 6th or 7th gear at 3K RPM's. I hope this helps and I will be able to give additional feedback after breakin.

I don't there is any problem...Darren has a custom header setup on his.
Does he have headers or just replaced the cats, I am confused as what his setup is as far as that. I was under the impression he replaced the cats and has the Dinan straight pipes along with mufflers as his setup.

I can report in that after the first 250 miles, the car is extremely strong. My setup is as follows:
Dinan 5.7L Stroker
Dinan Stroker ECU
Dinan HF Throttle Bodies
Dinan Intakes w/HF MAF Housings and tubing
Dinan Suspension w/ Monoballs and Camber Plates
Custom Header setup w/ 200-cell race cats (OEM Manufacturer, if you didn't know they were custom, you would think they were stock)
EvoSport midsection (Secondary Race Cats & X-Pipe)
Dinan Exhaust
RPI Scoops
I ran an impromptu onboard timer 60-130. I started at 60 in 4th gear and ended at 130 in 7th gear. 3 shifts and never exceeded 5500 RPM's. 12.XX seconds. I think that is pretty impressive considering it's not even in the car's power band and alot of shifts for a 60-130. Extremely happy with the car. Maybe someone with a stock or modified stock motor could run a 60-130 using the same technique for comparison. I only have 950 miles to go tomorrow. Only 6.5 loops around DFW!
