+1. Though they should think about having high flow cats as
an optional accessory.

Darren, would the RPI scoops work in conjunction with the dinan airbox as it is supposedly less restrictive and will allow more airflow? extra 20+ hp would be nice!

Yes they do. I don't know if they provide the same level of gains as on a stock motor with stock air boxes.

SBM6 has the RPI scoops and should be able to chime in once he puts some miles on the car.

Cheers,

Darren

would stiffer springs help with the traction control (or lack thereof) ?

just thinking that if u had stiffer springs, the force of the torque driving the wheels to the ground would be more efficient (less spinning, and more grip

) or maybe the car has so much more power that it wouldn't matter.

it would help if you find that right setting as that is why there are drag suspension kits for cars... I think for traction i would go with stiffer setting upfront but softer in the rear as thats what i did when i had the coil-over suspension in my 944 turbo and it helped tons! just gotta find that nice compromise as a stiffer rear would keep the rear up more and it will spin more. At least from my experience

At the end of the day, this car is a street monster. While I'll probably use different tires when I go to the track. I'm extremely pleased with my Dinan suspension and cannot believe the difference it made compared to my Eibachs...not even the same league.

Regards,

Darren

yup, the dinan suspension is pretty solid. ride quality, i swear, is stock, but performance is so much more solid. got it on mine, with all the other handling goodies.

congrats on the stroker, have fun...

p.s. talk to chuck, he'll tell ya to invest in a radar/laser detector/jammer.

Ever-growing wish list for Darren (not necessarily in this order):

1. Get a sub 4.0 second 0-60 MPH on your V-box
2. <12.0 second 1/4 mile time
3. Beat the 997 turbo from a dig
4. Race E55 AMG from a roll and dig
5. Top speed run like Russ Ramz (hoping for 210 on the GPS)
6. 0-100 MPH time low-mid 8's
7. Dyno >550 RWHP
8. 60-130 MPH run on the V-Box
9. Race Z06 from a roll and a dig
10. More videos please--never can get enough vicarious stroker thrills

All the above in a controlled and safe environment. Be careful out there!

OK Ranger,

I have had about enough of your BS. I didn't say one word about your car or anyone's car for that matter specifically. I was responding to another poster alltogether.

I believe you have a problem with a little word called context. Look it up.

But regardless, I will run you, LIFESGUD, Junky, and whomever else you would like to throw in the mix because win, lose, or draw it will be fun nonetheless. In fact, let's do 10 runs in a row without you getting out of your car to change your bottle!

Now I will just shut my mouth because everyone on here thinks I'm a loser and I have a piece of crap and I will stop posting here alltogether because to he77 with me, I don't know squat!

All in good fun, of course.
