Darren, WOW!

Congratulations! And congratulations to Dinan for evidently being able to crawl out of their E60 slump and pull out a winner. Naturally aspirated motor with that power on a warranty.

Time to find an '07 or '08 for a good price and do the stroker swap! With prices of used M5's dropping like concrete shoes, the 40K investment for pure performance is one hell of a deal!

Thank you for taking the risk and sharing. Good luck!

Thank you very much. It is a completely different beast now and in my opinion is exactly how this car should have come from the factory!

Great work Dinan on a fantastic engine and to Classic BMW on a great installation and customer experience!

Maybe someone from RPI or someone with the RPI set up (Kenny?) can confirm but I thought RPI's system also includes race cats and do not have any CEL warnings.

Darren, would you mind doing 60-130mph please? since they all use 60-130 as a bench mark on 6speedonline.

Thank you, sir.

Edit: regarding RPI headers setup, they replace prime cats with straight pipe with a little twist that will not throw the CEL. Their high flow cats were on section1. In my case, I have ESS to disable the rear O2 sensor, so it doesn't matter. I think RPI have tested with their M5 (NobleM400) with stock ecu and no CEL.

No sir...RPI's setup uses straight pipes on flanges so you can swap in/out the stock primary cats for emmissions testing, but it's straight pipes only when not using the stock primary cats.

I'll work on it. People who do those runs are freakish about how to tweak every last bit of power/time out of the run. For example, they have only 1/8 tank of gas, they strip out everything in their car, they look for tail winds, etc.

In other words, it can be manipulated nicely and not reproducable on regular intervals. Just FYI...
