Darren traded in his '06 M5 for a new '08 interlagos blue M5 loaded in which he put the new Dinan Stroker motor in. I am waiting for him to break it in and take me for a spin!!

Chris is doing the same to his M6!!

Big congrats but give us more. I know that with only 250 miles you can't do much.
Would be nice to see dyno results.

Can you guys adopt me?

So are these S3 strokers with all the Dinan goodies?

If you don't mind me asking, what was the cost out the door for the
conversion?

Congrats Darren. I can't wait for the full write-up once you are past the break in period. I assume you got Ron's high-flow primary cats in addition to the Dinan middle exhaust section. I think you actually inherited my OEM headers attached to the high flow primary cats . The local guy here in Atlanta with the stroker M6 had the high flow primary cats installed and secondary cats deleted, and this apparently made a significant and noticeable performance improvement for his stroker.

With the above set-up, TB's, exhaust, and intakes, you might be pushing 650+ crank horsepower--pretty amazing for a naturally aspirated car.
Ron thinks his set-up adds nearly 70 horsepower to the stroker. I am looking forward to dyno results to see what kind of RWHP you get and how this compares with other engine mods.

I suspect you will burn through your tires a lot quicker. Perhaps you need to keep an extra PS2 or two in the trunk along with the oil. If nothing else, this would help with your traction off the line.
