Hey Joe,
I'll save you the trouble of sending me a PM. As far as sound, no difference. It is tough to qualify the power increase as I got the intakes over the summer when temps here in Atlanta reached the 90's, so difficult to compare to how I was before the intakes when the temp was cooler. I did a wheel horsepower test on my Perfomance Box, however, which showed about a 20 horsepower increase. I can tell you that member OTDoc (who also has the intakes and software) and I both ran against his brother with a Z06 and fared surprisingly well from 0-60; I am certain I would have been demolished when my car was completely stock. My best 0-60 MPH run on my Performance Box (prior to the intakes) when I had Dinan TB's, stage 2 software, exhaust, and TB's and Yokohama Advan Sport tires was 4.3. Now that I have the intakes, stage 3 software, Michelin PS2's, and forthcoming high-flow primary cats with OEM headers, I plan to do another 0-60 run in the fall when the temp starts dipping in the 50's and 60's. If I get 4.0 or less I will be done (I think ).
I believe I need a better driver with a better launch technique to get the most of my car, however. On that note--hey M5Ranger, since I drove all the way down to Miami, it is your turn to take your beast up to Hotlanta and terrorize the exotics here.

I have the larger Dinan air intakes on my car and it has added noticable rwhp.
For instance, SBM6 (has heavy modded M6: Full Evosport exhaust including their headers, x-pipe, Dinan mufflers, Dinan MAF and throttle bodies, Dinan 3.91 diff, Dinan software) would pull me when we raced side by side in controlled runs.
I did two things: added Dinan larger MAF/airboxes and flashed my ecu back to stock.
Afterwards (and after putting a few hundred miles on the odometer) we raced again and it was dead even. He couldn't pull me and couldn't gain on me either.
I am a believer and recommend the airboxes!
Hope this helps.
Darren

I thought that with the larger Dinan MAF's you needed to run the Dinan software to compensate for the new MAF?

That's what "they" say. I've proven otherwise, at least to myself. The stock ECU is a work of art!

Interesting. How long have you had them in? This is good news.

They've been in for about 1-1.5 months.
