I burned some MP3's and did the test and unfortunately it didn't work. My car is a June 05 build. I tried the same disc in friends 330 August 07 build and it worked just fine. The other bad news is the service bulletin that you referred to is only applicable to US customers and not here in the UK (although if anyone has other views on this please let me know).

I spoke to the dealers who flat out refused to provide a software update and seemed to think a software update wouldn't solve the problem anyway, but I think they were tryng to fob me off. This is a big problem as I would only get the iPod kit if I could view track names etc.

I'm going to call another dealer tomorrow and am definately not going to my F10 from this dealer. Also am etting some quotes tomorrow on installation costs. I'll let you know how it goes.
