Don't worry aftermarket parts will be available sooner than the car

I checked with my friend and BMW Canada doesn't have the competition package listed for 09.

Can someone check with BMW USA??

Yes good question. Since I know BMW Canada released the 09 M6 information this week, the competition package wasn't on the list, it doesn't look like it will be available.

Anyone with BMW USA connections?

BMW has the right formula....make somethings new and interesting to get new buyers but not enough to piss off exisitng buyers (and collapse the residual values).

Nothing like a big power bump in the middle of an existing generation to piss off loyal buyers.
