The engine on the 5.7 liter "stroker" engine we installed in an M6 has finally passed the break-in point. So first things first.....

Seems approximately ok given what has been claimed. 480whp
dynopack (supersprint setup) to 564whp (supersprint + stroker)
from a stock 430whp. I guess that's something around 100hp-ish
at the crank. (assuming 430whp == 500 crank). Maybe a little low.
I guess that's why you need the intake, throttle bodies, etc to
get to the 620ish numbers that Dinan is reporting.

I'm not doubting the numbers. But 84whp seems a bit paltry for the $$$, no?

Yeah, certainly in my world it is. But I guess for now those
that want to get over 600hp at the crank without NOS this is
the only option. I'd love to see an N/A solution for 25% of
the price but sadly this will probably not happen.

The thing is that the engine upgrade UPs horsepower NOT by increasing the RPMs but by increasing the torque. I don't know the exact torque this engine produces but it should definitely help with acceleration.

So pretty much we have enough HP, we just need more torque? Especially down low and we would be much faster?

Very nice. 564 RWHP? That is alot of power.

+50 HP for full Supersprint system + chip seems to be inline in when we added the full Supersprintsystem on the M5 Touring we did in Italy at Supersprint gained 40 HP since we didn't add chip.

I am very interested to see how this M6 performs on the highway.
