What to do with the Spare Tyre ?

Hey guys !

Regarding the M5 E60 Spare tyre

what is the best the way to deal with it ?

does it have any other place to put it other than its default place coz its taking so much space of the rear trunk cargo.

Thanks,

My understanding is that outside the US M5's have a spare but inside the US we don't. Also a lot of people say they have run flats and I was told that by my sales rep too but ... it's not true in my case they were normal Contis I checked ...

M5's do not come with run flats. And, certain countries (excluding the United States) require by law that a spare tire be included, not just the fix-a-flat goop and air pump the US cars are equiped with. I assume that since the poster is from the United Arab Emirates, the UAE is one of the countries that requires the inclusion of a spare tire.

Lol I get flats so much... Mine didn't come with a spare..my pump has already burnt out... and my goop exploded in trunk bottom part and its a solidified pool of if now...

I have my own spare that I always keep in my trunk... its saved me a couple times.

M5 does not come with spare or run flats. Just that crap in the boot.
Would be thinking a spare would be a much better idea but there just is no where to put it with the battery in the boot.
