I would love to see that take place

I've been tooling around with the Idea of slapping a procharger on my Z06..

I've seen some kits using about 5-6psi making close to 600+ to the wheels..

Man, tempers are really flaring. There's never a need to get personal. On a lighter note, does anyone know this dude? I'd love to set up a race against the ASR M5 and this beast. All for a measly 30% commission on that 100k wager. Lolz. Bottom line-there's alway going to be someone faster.

Juan. Chill my friend You have nitrous that makes up for your lack of power to beat a Z06 motor to motor, no offense but its the truth and judging from your videos you experienced that by multiple car lengths. Being in FL im sure you know what Z06's on spray can do.

Actually im not here to provoke as I only speak the truth from personal experience and factual data.

Your not that naive, so dont act like it. I am an enthusiast just like you Juan. I know alot about the bulit M's ASR produces with nitrous. In my personal opinion nitrous is a crutch, but then again you can only make a car go so fast in naturally aspirated form so I understand why some choose to go that route. We are just as competitive in the "Benz World of high HP and drag racing" where i hold some fairly fast records. The fastest/quickest guys run the funny gas. I could go to nitrous and take out the whole crew, but Id much rather attempt to get there without.

M5Ranger:

I am a little disappointed with your response (I know you could care less) but you are suggesting that people can only have opinions when they can throw around $100K??? Is that really what you want to say? In reading the thread beginning to end...the harshness of your response was not warranted. As for your apples to oranges comparison of a M5 with NOS vs a lightly modded Z06...yeah everyone would agree the M5 would win...in an apples to apples (NOS to NOS or motor to motor) comparison I think everyone (maybe not you) knows who would win.

OK..now go ahead and tell me to put up $100K or shut up...or try to intimidate some more and make it $250K or better yet a $1M....it would seem that someone so passionate would want to inflict some humility for free...

Do you think superchargers and turbos are crutches as well?

Not at all, they are power available all the time. I speak from personal experience having nitrous cars, but been there done that on my mustang 5.0 when I was a kid Id love to see a turbo'd or supercharged M car kick some butt.

True, NOS is not available all the time. I think if one car only has spray and one car only has boost, they are both the same power adder. I personnaly have never had NOS on a car before. I had a supercharged 5.0 stang back in the day myself (seems like everyone has) and it would still smoke about everything out there today. Damn...I miss that car!
