The newest video that was just posted, of the modified z06 against the modified m6, the m6 in the vid was mine; I'm not referring to the first videos that took place at the airfields.

If you are serious about running a Z06, I'd give ASR a call. Been in an ASR M5 and it was beyond brutal, definite Z06 slayer.

I can not believe I missed this thread when it was current. Regarding all the debate about racing a Z06 with an M6 or M5 well I have a different true experience. This is NOT an opinion. This is a fact. Here is a video. My ASR M5 running a C6 Z06 Vette (modded making 530 rwhp).
Now you members dubai m5 and DrivenAgain anytime you guys want to wager, bring it on!! Here is the video of the run of my ASR M5 vs. C6 Z06 Vette. We ran 60 mph to 180 mph.
YouTube - Built Z06 vs ASR M5 Stage 3
I can give other examples but we are talking about the Z06 at present.
In the video the camera was in the M5 and you are looking at the Vette. It is 1,000% better than the video provided by chiromonkey.

Now you two guys, dubai m5 and DriverAgain you must be clear on this: Can you right a check with your mouth that you can cash with your *****.
Come on, throw what you want boys and we'll meet you with an ASR tuned M5/M6.

An ASR M6 has put 4 car lenghts on a Carrera GT. But forget all this crap.
Come on bring the testicular fortitude and run an ASR M5/M6. We got an awesome thing going on down here in Miami.

DrivenAgain I see you are not an M owner but only here to provoke BS.
You earlier stated $1.00 bet. Hey buddy lets make it $100K.

Bring the Vette, Lambo, Ferrari and Porsche TT.

dubai m5 and DrivenAgain you have no idea what an ASR tuned M5/M6 are all about.
The ASR M6 will demolish the planned Lambo Murci LP 640 run.

You two guys bring what you want

Juan, as much as I love my M and respect you and your accomplishments, I don't think any ASR M5/M6 can hang with a nicely modified ZO6 unless it's one of the new upcoming ASR twin-turbo cars.. A stock ZO6 on a 150 shot would demolish a ASR M5/6. My two Z's are both N/A and would be hard pressed to be beat. A M5/M6 would have to trap over 140+ in the 1/4 to run with my black car..

We really need to get some sort of "meet" together..

SW
