0-200-300 z06 12,4, 44 sec
0-200-300 b6s 13,1, 41 sec
0-200-250 m6 13,8, 22,4 sec just to 250 as he was limited, but the 13,8 istn that good in this test.
0-200-300 gt2 11,4, 36,4 sec

you can clearly see how the z06 looses time up to 300kmh, b6s is noticable faster, and so probably the m6 as well. But as i said m6 was limited to 250kmh

here's an exhaust and intake'd z06 vs. moderately modded m6. no way an m car is coming close unless they z lets off or the race gets into speeds that just don't matter (where the z runs out of gear).

I thought the race would never start But man that car had a sweet sound... nasty!

Still somewhat surprising though that we still have these debates. Right or wrong, the Z06 seems to remain one of our favorite targets. I guess some of us just want it all (myself included).

The Zo6 seems to let off when it is evident that the M5 is reeling him in?

ummm...ok...i guess that's one way to look at it. another could be that the camera's zoom doesn't work at that great of a distance and they could no longer get worthy footage.

The cortrect way of looking at it is liten to the cmareman i nthe Z06 = Me

We cna also get COngaman in here on commenting and the M5 was reeling him in, definetly. Quote from Congaman on YouTube:

"I am really impressed by this video. It really does look like the BMW was closing on the Z06. Reading up on cars with similar mods, it top-ends over the Z06! Freakin' amazing."

Congamans reply:

"Ohh yes, this M5 was tuned to the max with 560 hp (if I remember correctly). It has better gearing for really high speed acceleration. Great car as long as you dont compare it to the Z06 on the track. "

But chiromikey that wasnt even there must know better
