The 997 Turbo was a tiptronic, and was actually a very healthy 911 Turbo But you clearly can see that a 911 Turbo autmatic looses in acclerartion because it as 5 gears instead of the manuals 6-speeds: slower acceleration. Gearing again.
Glad you liked it
Yup, that silver 997 TT was just barely driven in and was clearly faster, since it was a manual.

comments: the 997TURBO tip that was in the event was DETUNED?? so slow. maybe because is tip maybe few mileage... very very slow.
do you remember the TT manual silver that smoked the RED m6???
One doesn't exclude the other. But it would be quite expensive to use, as you need a couple of them to keep the races flowing...

True. There were 4 HD Camcorders this year and even that wasn't enough to keep up with all of the races. Trying to keep track of all the vBox run files and match them to the individual cars would be next to impossible. Each driver would need his own box for it to work and that just isn't practical.

It is funny that there is never any disparities at the actual races, but only afterwards But yes, dataloggers would be good but it is also a quest to be able to get the races flowing.

Come on now Gustav, don't be a cheapa$$, you are selling a product now, so its time to up the production values.
As it stands, the races are entertaining, but at the end of the day, you don't even know in absolute terms which car was the fastest. With dataloggers, you could run an elimination type event with a showdown of the fastest cars. The vbox also records shift times, rpm levels, so a lot of useful and fun data can be used when it comes down to editing the races. For example, the fastest guy on a manual transmission vs an egear.
Don't worry guys. These events will always have their doubters, conspiracy theorists, and skeptics. Those involved will speak to the integrity of the events and their results. Let some of these others doubt all they want. You will never please everyone. Those who suggest that there be a huge series of machines to compile physical data should donate some money or time to attempt to make this a reality. Perhaps then it would be more clear as to how difficult and impractical that would be for a variety of reasons. All you need to appreciate these events are working eyes and an open mind!
Haha, anyway I slice this it will eb a loss. Anyhow, it is more of logistics; it is easy to just jump in with a cameraman on set, but with dataloggers it just adds alot more to the confusion. But next event probably we will eb less cars but more high performance ones.
But the rules are easy, go as fast as you can
