This is what the race between the 335i V2 and M3 should have looked like from an equal start at 70 km/h on second gear. M3 is blue and 335 is read.
Interesting huh? The difference in meters at the finish is only 4 meters, the 335 is still ahead but loosing ground rapidly.

Could you see if the m3 have sufficient Hp/ torque to pull away i 2 gear/50km/h,if we are talking figures , this is something to have in mind.

Very true. That is why I started on 1st gear to have the power and orque. But apparantly to measuring equipment that was wrong.

In anycase, the 335i V2 is a very fast car and faster to 200 km/h than a M3 E92, definetly is what I beleive.

M3s usally have flat torque band so I assume it has about the same acceleration in 50 as in 60 on 2nd gear. The rev is not too low at 50km/h. On the other hand the 335 does not have the same throttle response as the M3 so maybe it´s 1-1?

I looked at the graph between you and the M5 Touring. The 335 is equally fast as the M5 up to 210km/h....after that the M5 is insane!
Anyway, the 335i is very impressive indeed! I did´nt think it would be that fast.

Whisch run did you check,we did 3 runs first m5 missed a shift, 2 run i missed.I belive we were equal the last run,but i might be wrong, i was busy breaking hard after that run.
There is one othe thing to have in mind, i had reduced the power(90%) during this runs. And there are maps with more power coming.
the reason i run in to limpmode and had to reduce the power seems to be that the map i was running didn´t had the correct setting for the Dp and exhaust. The 335 has POTENTIAL.

It's nice to see that the PROcede 335i is getting a little more attention and respect than before. For a while, several of us E90Posters were getting flamed when we posted up stories (unfortunately w/o videos) of PROcede 335i's running with M5's and such. We tried to tell everyone just how fast these cars are with a fairly simple $1,400 piggyback computer, but some just wouldn't believe it. Now, with Shiv's v2 upgrade and an additional ~ 30-40WHP on top of the PROcede v1.47, it's quite incredible!

Anyway, kudos again to ALL those who participated in this event. I'm certain that most of us BMW enthusiasts are very jealous that we could not be there to participate and/or witness the runs first hand.
