DPE Wheels LS-5 20"
Ok...I think I have finally found my wheels... Its the exact same wheels as member M5_Power minus the rivetts. So if a DPE rep can chime in here to confirm that the wheels in this pic are the DPE LS-5 w/Brushed Alumimum finish with obviously no rivets... I love the look....

Also can someone please explain the difference between the STANDARD LIP and REVERSE LIP...
I wonder if they can do a brushed aluminum lip like the RACs...

I got DPE S20. I really love DPE wheels. After going through so many sites, I decided on the DPEs. The pictures with the boxes are my rims before they were shipped out to me. I should receive those rims here in Manila in about 2 more weeks.

By the way, to have an idea how those rims might look like, how about these photos from Hamann.

You know what's really getting me excited is I'm getting the RED carbon fiber engine cover from REVOZPORT. I can't say exactly that it's going to look like as red as the original hamann engine cover in the picture or if they can stand the heat of the engine, but I'll take the risk.

I should have them in a month's time. And then I will add the black GRUPPEM CF air intake. I'm very particular about how how my engine bay looks like and I'm not too happy with the stock ones right now.

The standard wheel will have a slight lip at the barrell and the center spokes will
'kill' into this lip. In a reversed lip design, the center spokes will 'kill' into the barrell or dish diretly with no lip. Reverse designs make the wheels actually appear larger. If you google HRE wheels, compare say a 547 picture to a 547R and you will see what I mean. Hope this makes sense.
Oh, and my $.02--if you are going with these DPE wheels, I would definitely go with the reverse design.

I want the deepest lip possible and want my wheels to look the biggest... I think rivets makes a wheel look smaller than what it really is... So reverse lip it is then. Thanks for the info...

oh and the great thing about DPE wheels are that they are made specifically for your car so no spacers are needed.
