yup! 4000lb with 5 guys in it...the car FLEW 200-feet and then hit the tree while it was in air...they must have been driving real fast and didn't realize the land ended till it was too late.

Damn. Cannot even recognize if that was a car to start out with. I lost two of my 18 yr old cousins (both brothers) in a high speed joy ridding accident 2 months ago. Just reaffirms that car accidents is the number one killer for the 18-25 yr old bracket.
18yrs with 500hp car out after a party? That not a good combo and hard to keep thing in check. I personally lost 17yrs bro in a car accident over a year ago and the hardest thing to overcome even today is to imagine what he would be like if he still alive. Life is short but u got to respect it.

I lost my brother 17 years ago when he , his girlfriend and two fraternity brothers died in a car accident coming home from Vegas, these stories always hit home.
I see many younger members on this board, I'm not only envious to imagine having such a car at a early age...but fearful of what I did with far inferior hardware as a youth. Take this story to heart.
Why would a parent buy an eighteen year old a 500hp car? Eighteen means you are still immature! I think he was set up for disaster. The tragedy here is he took four other young lives with him. Probably drinking involved. A truely ridiculous accident. I pray for them all.
My prayers are with josh and his family as well. Being that I am 21 and going on my second M5 i know the temptation is great and sometimes hard to handle at that age. I just thank god that i have learned to drive in a more careful manner and have all eyes focused on the road. This is a very serious car with extraordinar performance, i have learned to respect it because there is a VERY, VERY thin line between losing it and keeping it on the road.

I think you should consider changing your tag-line then.
One question, what is up with South Florida and kids having these expensive cars? You said this is your second M5? if you don't mind...what exactly do you do? when I was 21 I was getting a commision in the Marines and had a Jeep....used! :1:
