To Spring, or not to Spring....

I got my 20"s put on and it definitely magnifies the need for the car to be lowered. Ride comfort is VERY important to me as this is my daily driver. the 20"s didnt hurt the ride too much.

so, should I get the springs, or not?

ps. if I do it, it will likely be H&R.

My brother has the RDsport springs on his M6 with 21" rims....He had the springs with stock rims and they did not make the ride harsher.....I think u should go with RD because they lower the car better than H&R or any other company as far as height goes.

I've got 20's that are lighter than the stock wheels, and with the H&R springs the ride is almost the same, maybe 1/2 a setting stiffer. With the lighter 20's and Michelin PS2's the ride is basically the same as with the stock tires and Contis.

With 20" rims w/ low profile tires, you need a spring set, otherwise the gap between fender/tire will look awkward. Definitely a must...

Sorry , poll is useless springs for some conditions no springs for others...way to many variables.
For an everyday 4 person family car...stock springs.
For a sporty ride, a better handling car in a slalom or lots of tracking...springs.

Get the springs, also get some wheel spacers. This car looks like **** without them. I put H&R springs on mine and can't tell any difference in ride at all.
