On the exterior I thought only the lights and the reflectors on the front bumper have been moved.

Nope, don't have an M, just drooling over your cars.

I think its just the lights and the marker like you said for the outside...the interior changed a little (door panal, cd player and the new tray)...but I dont really think the 5er got much of a lift. The 6 did get that bumper though...

If your racin', your broke...

Why do all great things get less than 10 mpg?

From what I've seen the only differences are....

-Clear "Euro" headlights
-Amber side markers on the front bumper
-New style LED tails with lines
-Soft Close Door option
-6 disc changer in dash
-Mirror and window buttons moved lower on driver door and the hand grip removed
-Additional color options
-Bigger headrests, safety issue
-Flat Tire Monitor system changed from rotational speed to those things you stick in the wheel

Confirmed all these by viewing several 08 models next to mine and looking into them at the dealer

-Murdered out in Black

My 2007 has the sensors in the wheel. This change was from 06 to 07.
