can anyone post a pic of a Dinan exhaust from the rear... is it just me or does the Dinan tips look like they are positioned more towards the outside than centered like stock?
I uploaded pics of my Dinan exhaust to my profile for you four days ago and the images still indicate "image pending approval." There must be something indecent in the photos I didn't notice-- most likely the ugly reflection of myself superimposed on a beautiful car. ouich I am at work now, but I will try to upload the pics to this thread when I get home tonight.
I never noticed before, but I went to look at mine today and they are definitely spread a bit to the other portion of the space in the diffuser. I can't remeber if the stock tips were centered or not.

Here are some before and after pics. Though taken from a different angle, it looks like the Dinans are centered about the same as stock. The main difference to me is that Dinan tips are of a larger diameter. Comparing these two pics, I definitely prefer Dinan over stock as the stock tips look almost sadly puny compared to Dinan.
Thanks Guys...yeah, after I typed my question....I thought to myself. "I could probably check this on Dinan's site pretty easily". I did go look there..
So, for those that have done the Dinan Exhaust, are you pretty happy with it overall? It does sound great...could you notice the hp/torque increase or was it so small, that it was hardly noticeable?
Cited for excessive noise from the Dinan mufflers???....they are relatively quiet compared to most other aftermarket exhausts for the M5! Do you have headers in addition to the Dinan mufflers?
Geez....I wonder what the dickhead cop would have said if he heard my car with my Eisenmann Race exhaust! :nono:
