Sound level for Eisenmann Meisterschaft exhaust?
I'm getting back into a 08 M5 after a horrible experience with the E63 AMG (long service story) I originally bought a Meisterschaft exhaust for my 06 M5 but never had the chance to install it. Now looking at my local Eisenmann dealer’s website. There is more than one Meisterschaft exhaust?? How accurate is the sound chart on this website? http://www.ind-distribution.com/deta...make=44&part=1 Thanks

First of all, I'm not expert, but have been running into their several products for myself.
See this thread New Eisenmann Exhaust - Now Quieter than Race Exhaust!
(post#21) for similar comparison, except the Touring is a little quieter than e-sport, and section1&2 alone not as loud as sport even though both scale at 5, but will dramatically increase when section1&2 combine with e-race/GT. Section1&2 alone more like stock with raspy at higher rpm.
Notice that the website put Touring quieter than e-sport now (which is correct), where initially gave Touring was in between e-sport/e-race when first released. Some people bought Touring hope that it will compromise between sport/race, but end up disappointed when Touring more like stock.

Thanks for the reply. How much louder is the new Meisterschaft GT system over the Race Performance? Are the Kreissieg mufflers louder in f1 mode than the Race/Meisterschaft? Sorry for asking so many questions. There are too many options to consider.

I only can tell you that section1&2+GT loud enough to get me in trouble with neighbor/workplace. IMO, section1&2+GT should be similar to section1&2+erace, but the quality/workmanship of Meisterschaft is unbelieveable, i think a little bit better than e-race maybe lighter as well.
Without section1&2, both GT and e-race not that crazy loud at all, but again, just my hearing judgement, can't speak for you or anyone else.
The kreissieg is louder than section1&2+GT and higher pitch (awsome!!!), but too expensive. I was thinking about the kreissig, but then decide to get something else and rather put the rest of money on header.
check out this thread, he has been through most of eisenmann product line. New Eisenmann Exhaust - Now Quieter than Race Exhaust!

Now that's pretty loud. Does your Dad have a new Meisterschaft GT? Or is it the older Meisterschaft?

I think the older meisterschaft (used to be only one) is the same as GT. They named them to distinquish between old one (GT) and newer/quieter one(Touring)

Really? I thought I read somewhere that the new GTs were quiter than the E-Races. Maybe I read it wrong. Either way, they are quite loud, but they sound awesome
