Gearbox failure on the weekend! (kept skipping 3rd)

Yikes. Ok it wasnt a nice start to the weekend over here.. So i fire up the beast athought its been quiet sleeping these days... got my gear and went to the gym... After a good hour and a half work out.. Boom gearbox failure with the warning that the engine will not restart! It went to SMG mode and i noticed it kept skipping third gear in up and down shifts.

Anyways, i got home and turned off the motor.. restarted and it did fire up but still with the gearbox failure.. oh boy

mine did the same thing!

when i would go from second to third i'd here a big clunck and it would skip into fourth gear. than the red trans cog would come on. after that i wouldn't have third gear. car would start no problem but when i would up shift or downshift it would go straight into fourth or second, no third gear. so they redid the software and after a couple of days it did it again. so than they replaced the clutch and flywheel!

after replacing the clutch it was fine. i broke the clutch in at 500 miles and guess what it did it again. so they put a new transmission.

it took only a week because they had so many trans (11) in florida ready for shipping. that's sad more transmission in one state than the actual car.

so far so good no problems, and i already have 40k on my car, can't stop driving it and love every minute of it.
take care and good luck.

tranny!!!!!!!!!!! they redid software and that didn't help, then they did clutch and flywheel and that didn't help, finaly installed transmission and put 25000 miles since and no problems.
