New M5 in about 2 weeks!

After about 2 years of lurking on this board as well as the Rennlist 997 Turbo board I finally made the decision. I chose to get an M5 over the 997 Turbo. I decided that the Porsche required too many comprises in practicality (2 kids) and comfort, while the M5 offered much of the performance (though not quite as much as the Porsche).

Here is what I got:

2008 M5 Interlagos Blue
Black perforated full leather
Ventilated Seats
Heated steering wheel
Comfort Access
Soft close doors
Power rear sunshade
Fold down seats
Heated rear seats
Multi function active seats
HUD
Sat Radio
iPOD
Enhanced sound

I should have the car in 2 weeks.

The dealer is taking my '05 M3 and BMW Financial is paying the last 3 lease payments on it.

Did I negotiate a good deal?

MSRP $98,395.00

Selling price $94,395.00

36 month lease, 10k miles/year, no money down, 7.4% sales tax rolled into lease payment, .00319 money factor, 60% residual:

Monthly payment $1588.62

(No soft close doors for 2007... ).

I don't regret my choice ! - enjoy it !

I thought it was so nicely done that I actually made a copy of all your details to save in my blackberry. Truthfully. Would you have considered one of the tan colors with the IB? I'm on my second black interior BMW and might opt for a change on the next one. The IB exterior could be my paint color choice.

Congratulations!!
Sounds like you got a good deal.
You won't regret it. The car puts a perma-grin on me everytime I drive. It's to the point where I'm looking for excuses to go on errands...

This is a nice deal! Don't let anyone tell you different. I got similar terms just no money off sticker (picked-up car in April). I did however received some incentive in terms of the dealer paying for a loan car for 3 months while we waited for the March build (first 08's). No, it was a Toyota Highlander

But that worked out also. My wife was considering a Highlander, however, after driving it for 3 months we got an 07 X5

Enjoy the anticipation for the next two weeks.
