Picture Request: 30% or 40% window tint

I am going in Tuesday to have my tint done. I have decided on the Llumar Axcess tint www.llumar-axcess.com. I want a light tint and had decided on 35% but they have either 30% or 40% so I have to go either lighter or darker. I am inclined to go 30% all around.

I wanted to see some photos of 30% or 40% in a similar ceramic type tint. I found a few on the board but none on a dark car like mine.

Anyone with photos to share would be greatly appreciated.

You would hardly even notice the 40% is there. I'd say go with the 30%

I dont have pictures as mine are 20%. But Kalik noted, 40% would be really light. I say go with 30%.

I have Huper Optik Ceramic 45%. I also have a black interior which darkens it up just right.

That is EXACTLY the look I am going for. Tinted just enough to give it the look but not too dark.

It looks darker than 45% to me. Do you have 45% all around or on the sides with something darker on the back?

Great looking car.

Can you just go to the shop and request to see a sample between 30/40. Put them side by side and decide from their on. I think it's very hard to distinquish from the pics taken from a camera epecially if u get 30% from one source/member and 40% from other except someone put them side by side and take one shot. Lighting, angle, background, environment, camera type, int/ext color, etc. Just a thought

+1 That's pretty much what I did the first time around, it's real easy to tell which one is right when they're side by side. Have the tilt guys hold the film up against the glass, different transmissins on the front window and rear window, it becomes crystal clear fairly quick. I always go w./ 30 by the way.

I have Huper 40 around and 60 in front.

Experiences with anti-glare tint (Huper Optik) and HUD?

I think your 40 looks darker(not older ) since you tinted in front windshield as well. I think you are one of very few I know who tinted the front windshield.
