I recently changed all lambdas. Is there any need to reset the ECU to make it "learn" from the new lambda values ? Can I reset the ECU with my Carsoft 1.4.0 ??

Reset forces the issue but your car will figure it out by itself.

Code 69 & AA

Hi Guys ... Pulled these 2 codes with my Peake reader

69 - Engine coolant temperature, Plausibility (had 1 coolant sensor replaced not to long ago, BMW mechanic mention that I might need the thermostat replaced at some time $1200.00!!), as its a little slow to warm up to normal temp.

AA - Secondary air system, flow to low - no idea what this would be...

Thanking you in advance for any advice!

Those two codes are well documented. You can search on any of the terms you capitalized. In the sticky FAQ, look for AA/carbon. In the DIY Guidepost you'll find how to change the tstat; however, you may wish to first read about how to test it.

Both of these topics have been really well covered and one is so large(the one you don't know) can't even start it.
Go to search and type in carbon build up. That will keep you busy for about a month or so. Hint there is software for this problem so don't worry.
The tstat or code 69 there are several DIY threads for this issue, but your first issue is you are getting ripped off by your mechanic. replacement of the Tstat is done by basic newbies in less than 2 hours and the part can be found for as little as 36 bucks. If you posted a little more than Canada some one might give you a name of an honest shop close to you.
Here is a little head start
M5 weirdest themostat ever? How does it even work?
Did a thermostat replacement today (a lot of pics)
If that is not enough

I don't have a Peake tool [yet], does the cluster's "Test 14" output correspond to the Peake tool? If so I've got trouble for just 45,000 miles.

91 - “Fuel control, Cyl #5-8”
F7 - VANOS pressure accumulator valve
F8 - “Intake camshaft VANOS moving time, Cyl #1-4”
BF - “Ignition output stage, Cyl #6”
CE - “Misfire during warm-up, Cyl #2”

No test 14 is not the same . It has a whole set of different meanings. Is that where you got those numbers from. If it is there are 4 lines post each one. If you have those codes explain where you got them and include if you have cleared them and they came back.

Got them from Test 14. My Peake tool is on it's way so I decided to give this method a try.

1 91 84 000
2 F7 84 000
3 F8 84 000
4 BF 84 000
5 CE 84 000

I cleared them, went for a short drive (5 miles) and they hadn't yet appeared. I have no reason to drive anywhere at the moment but if they return I will pull them again. To be honest I don't really think there is anything wrong with the car. If there's anything wrong, it's awfully subtle. It also recently passed an inspection, with only 1 history of a fault code (random misfire during warmup), but it was ages ago.
