exhaust advice please

ok what would sound best do you guys think, bearing in mind i want the car to sound quite stock like until i give it some hard throttle?

1. ss race cans on stock system inc resinator, cats and headers

2. ss magnums with x pipe on stock cats and headers

i want to do this for a little weight saving and a little more noise when flooring it so to speak,i fitted the odyssey lightweight battery the other day,its great, only weighs 11 kg where as the stock one is 28.5 kg!

IMO,

Dinan cans' more of an American Muscle Sound.

SS Magnums with X Pipe; more of a burbally/bassy European Performance Sound.

I noted some rasp in certain RPMS on the Dinan. I heard removal of the stock resonators eliminates this if still there after reasonal break-in.

SS Race would be just louder.

Both aren't annoying on idle, both don't have drone cept maybe during break-in.

Adding headers would make the overall sound louder, more aggressive, regardless of which you opt for exhaust.

I notice on start-up the SS Magnums are a bit louder until engine temp has starts to rise up to running temp.

My advice is figure out what kind of "Sound" you perfer; listen to what you can, knowing there are some decent clips on various web sites, primarily Y tube for mufflers that you can't find locally to sample.

I would do the Dinan or SS and install the resonators first and if you want more sound and weight saving? then get the xpipe and delete the resonators...
