My girl told me she saw some guy put an M badge on a first gen X5. She called me and said "guess what some idiot has done now". For some reason she can always spot these guys. She also told me she saw a few e39 wagons with M badges on them as well.
last year for my birthday, my wife put together a little party, the balloons were red, blue and purple.... Nice touch, i was impressed (women sure get the details).

My wife is "not" a car person, hates my M3 Convertible (ride to stiff and messes up hair), thinks the 540i is just a 4 door car BUT when I got the M5 and she rode in it, her eyes lit up wide. :light bulb:
Every passenger I have had acts the same way. Nobody knows what they are missing until they ride in a M5.
my wife happily arrives home after a (rare) drive in the beast, and laughs of some wannabe that had tried to stay with her up a hilly stretch of corners near home, the beasts honor is intact.
