Does the M5 Service Manual exist?

I ordered this:

Bentley Paper Repair Manual - 2000-2003 BMW M5 S62

On Amazon but received the standard 5 Series version from AutoPartsWay. When I contacted them they said that is the only version they have.

I looked around the web and all of the other vendors that say they have the M5 version do not have a picture so I'm not really even sure if it exists!

Does anyone have it and if so where did you get it?

Thanks!

K

I may be wrong but I don't think a Bentley manual exists for the e39 M5.

No manual for M5

After some additional research it appears that this is correct but many online shops are listing the E39 standard manual as a 2000-2003 BMW M5 S62 manual so buyer beware I guess.

I bought an e39 bentley manual. It was two books, and very pricey. Personally, I haven't found it as good as past bentley manuals. It seems to copy the Tis manual. I guess these cars are too expensive and advanced to justify a tear down for a true manual.

I would think you'd be better off buying the ETK, TIS, etc. from Ebay.
I got a 4 disc set with all of the stuff for $15-20.

Yes I know you can pretty much get this info online as well but this way you don't have to depend on an Internet connection to get info.
