Sources for buying shocks online?

Where would I find them? No one seems to have the stock shocks for the M5 online. Checked bavauto and pelican parts.

What brand are the stock shocks btw

TIA

Have you tried Summit Racing or Turner Motorsport? I would suggest you forget about stock shocks and get Konis. They don't cost much more if at all than stock, and the cost of the labor is such a great factor that you may as well get the upgrade. Konis just ride and handle so much better than the stock shocks.

+1. Go Koni.

another vote for an upgrade - of some form. I have the koni FSD (2100 4030) sitting in the box, waiting for the consumables to arrive so they can be fitted.

Sachs on my car.

BTW, I just looked at Summit Racing and their price for FSDs is $799 for the set of four. Summit Racing Koni FSDs. You would not think to look there because Summit is mostly about muscle car parts. Beware, however, that they might be backordered and you won't know that until they confirm receipt of your order. They are good to deal with, though (like, if you don't want to wait, you can easily cancel your order). I got mine from them last fall when they were about $150 less. Don't know why the price went up.

ya had to mention that......jealous of your score. Best I could do was $799 too. Board sponsor Tirerack will source them as well, again the wait may be a problem.
I got mine from Suspensiononline.com, there was a minor problem prior to shipping, but they corrected in and sorted it out to my satisfaction.
