Removing and replacing door sill kick plate and M badge on plenum cover

Can anyone recommend the best way to remove a door sill kick plate and also how to remove the M badge from the engine plenum cover on an E39 M5?

According to my BMW dealer, the kick plates are held on by clips and the M badge is apparently glued on!

I'm replacing both items ready for a show as the kick plate is marked and the badge is discoloured.

On the GB Forum there is a thread: Illuminated Door sills. Towards the end there is an instruction how to remove (and fit the illuminated door sills) the door sills. Hope it can be of some help.

A little rain, just like in England. Tomorrow is Midsummer Eve here in Sweden. Great parties going on everywhere The Girls are dancing around naked and its only to pick what you want (no, just joking). But some serious drinking is going on, that I can promise you.
