New M5 Owner - Forum here is great!

Greetings.

I'm happy to announce that I've joined the M5 community by buying a 2003 M5 Carbon Black - Lemans Blue interior yesterday. I had concluded the deal over a month ago and took delivery yesterday. A real gem. Bought new in 2004 and only 22,000 miles on the odometer. I know the original owner and he's a connaisseur.

Here's an open thank you to the loyal contributors to this forum. I've learnt an incredible amount of information here which has made my new ownership experience that much better.

Thanks to you, I've been able to understand many of the features and benefits of this vehicle. I've even already upgraded my Nav system (too easy).

To many exhilirating kilometres.

Welcome and congrats. LM blue - great colour. I have the Avus blue (the forerunner to the LM blue I think), I reckon the cars look awesome in the darker colours. (Owners of lighter colours don't be offended, just my opinion - all beasts look great obviously! :p ).

And a fellow bike rider too - good man.
