Can I get $1,195 Extended Maintenace Plan in SOCAL?

Is there a dealership in Southern California where I can get the Extented Maintenace Plan for $1,195 ?

I called the dealership in Macon, Georgia where many people received that rate, but they want me to send them my car keys to read the code. Now that can't be good sending my car keys cross country right?

I think they will all require the key ... to verify the mileage. I had a problem in that I had guessed at the mileage on another prior visit (no service required), and the key showed 100 less miles when I signed up for the Extended Warranty ... So I took it out and drove 200 miles (why not?) and went back in. No problem then.

There are tons of dealers in So. Cal. Get on the phone and ask (for the finance guy/gal) until you find one that will give it to you for $ 1,195 (that should be the lowest price you will find) ... you will find one. Then go and buy. The price is negotiable.

In my case, they didn't care to see the car, but I would drive it there anyway.

So I went to Beverly Hills BMW and bought the Extended Maintenance Plan for $1250.

I paid $55 bucks more then cost, but there was no way I was going to ship my car key to a stranger. Plus, I did not have the time to call 15 local dealers price shopping, so all in all I did OK.

Nope. Your car is too old. It must be less than 4 years old AND have less than 50k miles.

Once the leave your house who care how far they have to travel!

Just send the spare set and don't worry a bit. Or if time is short, Fedex it to them with a return fedex airbill...
